I love making images. I also love exploring everything this ever changing planet has to offer. But without a doubt the single most important force in my work as a photographer is the desire to make meaningful contact with the full spectrum of humanity. We are indeed living in a time of unparalleled technological evolution that has effectively dissolved many of the geo political borders that have sought to separate people of the world. The opportunity for contact, understanding, and cooperation with all the people of the world has never been greater and more urgent. With seven billion people sharing the resources of this fragile biosphere our very survival will be based on our ability to work together on challenges facing us all. In my work as a photographer and artist I am driven to learn more about the collective qualities that we all share as people and our differences that stand in the way of making this a better world.
